Who We Are
It was 1973 when I took a summer job with an Aquatech builder in Connecticut. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1975, I continued there as their purchasing agent. In 1978, I took a position as one of the first regional sales manager with HydroTech Chemicals in the Midwest. In 1983, I was named Vice President of Century Products, the pool industry’s largest manufacturer of solar blankets and winter pool covers. This position enabled me to travel and meet with pool companies across the U.S. In 1991, I started The Promark Group. Our first manufacturer was Gladon. Thirty one years later, Gladon remains one of our top manufacturers. Many of our manufacturers have been with us for more than twenty five years.
What We Do
The Promark Group is a manufacturers’ representative organization that provides our customers with products from some of the most recognizable manufacturers in the pool and spa industry. Our focus is bringing U.S. based manufacturers that combine high quality, great service and competitive pricing to pool and spa distributors. We have more than 40 years experience in the industry, 31 years since the inception of The Promark Group.
Our success is based on the strong relationships we have enjoyed with our customers throughout the Northeast, the Mid Atlantic States and the Midwest. We at The Promark Group are committed to providing our manufacturers and customers with a very high level of service combined with our high standard of doing business.
We work with our manufacturers in the development of new products, sales and marketing programs and in the control of their products on the Internet. We have a fully staffed corporate office and inside sales support and are located in the Westport business district.
